Senior Paraplanner Plymouth

Lead, Collaborate, and Shape the Future of Financial Planning Support at TFA as a Senior Paraplanner

About Us

Trusted Financial Advice (TFA) has been delivering exceptional, independent financial advice for over 25 years. With more than 2,000 verified 5-star reviews, our reputation is built on professionalism, innovation, and outstanding client outcomes. We are a firm that embraces technology – including AI and advanced digital tools – ensuring our team has the resources to deliver exceptional service efficiently.

The Role

Based in our Plymouth office, this is not a “sit in the back office” report-writing role. We’re looking for a Senior Paraplanner who thrives on collaboration, brings deep technical expertise, and is ready to take — or grow into — a leadership role. You’ll work directly with advisers, influence how we deliver advice, and play a key role in developing and enhancing our paraplanning capability, including integrating cutting-edge technology into our processes and working closely with our support teams to optimise client service.

What you'll do

  • Partner with advisers to design and refine client solutions across pensions, investments, and estate planning.
  • Conduct in-depth research and complex technical analysis to support tailored recommendations.
  • Drive the adoption and development of AI-assisted tools to streamline workflows and improve client outcomes.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering best practices and technical excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal policies.
  • Shape the way we deliver advice, improving efficiency and client experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Paraplanner in an IFA or wealth management setting.
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS or equivalent).
  • Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, and taxation.
  • Experience in using Intelligent Office to a high standard very desirable.
  • Passion for embracing and implementing new technology.
  • Leadership potential and the ability to inspire others.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and communication ability.

What We Offer

  • Flexible, tailored package to reflect your experience and the value you bring.
  • Company pension, holiday entitlement, Death in Service cover, and employee support services.
  • A key role in a forward-thinking, progressive firm where your ideas matter.
  • Ongoing CPD and professional development.
  • Modern, collaborative Plymouth office environment.

Be Part of Something Bigger

If you’re ready to step beyond standard paraplanning and take on a role where your leadership, technical skills, and ideas will directly influence how we deliver advice, we’d love to hear from you.
