Each year TFA supports a variety of charities across the South & South West of England and encourages staff to get involved with fundraising and volunteering activities.
Our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is core to all aspects of our operations, from the way we conduct our business to the ways in which we contribute to our local communities.
At TFA, we understand that business doesn’t always get done in the office and that participating in activities focussed on social responsibility brings the benefits of team work to all. This is why we attend and create unique events for all of our staff to be a part of.
Our advisers support local clubs, such as Yeovil Town Ladies FC, Pen Mill under 13 Predators Team and Plymstock United Colts Under 14 Girls football team. At a company level we support the women’s netball team the TFA Titans who our very own Becky Millbourn plays for in Plymouth.
Our MD Chris Glazier has completed the complete Tour de France route on two separate occasions in aid of the William Wates Memorial Trust and is planning to do so again this summer 2020 and Adviser Andy Moir ran 53 miles as part of the Dartmoor Prison Jailbreak Run in aid of Livewire Youth Project.
We also enjoyed a long relationship with St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth as Corporate Sponsors and in participating in both their local events such as the Midnight Walk, the Tour de Moor and their further flung activities including their coast to coast epic cycle challenge in Costa Rica. Whilst no longer being a corporate sponsor of St Luke’s we continue to support them through attending the popular events they host such as the ever popular ladies Midnight Walk.
We support our employees to participate in events hosted by their chosen charities through providing donations and extra holiday.
Being a part of TFA is more than just work; it’s a friendly, supportive environment.
