TFA Trusted Financial Advice is delighted to celebrate a significant milestone for one of our own. Our Director of Compliance, TheresaAtal, recently attended her final Annual Dinner as President of the Insurance Institute of Exeter — marking the close of an impressive three‑year tenure filled with dedication, leadership, and meaningful contribution to the insurance and financial services community.
A Memorable Evening to Mark the End of an Era
Hosted at the Somerset County Cricket Club, the Annual Dinner brought together professionals from across the region for an evening of conversation, connection, and celebration. For Theresa, it represented not only a highlight of the year but a moment of reflection on her time as President.
The evening was beautifully captured by attendees across the institute, showcasing the energy and camaraderie that defined the event. It was a fitting finale to Theresa’s presidency — warm, engaging, and full of the community spirit that she has championed throughout her term.
Three Years of Leadership and Service
As President, Theresa brought a clear sense of purpose and passion to the role. She has consistently championed professional development, encouraged collaboration across the sector, and helped strengthen the institute’s presence within the local community.
Her leadership has been marked by:
- A commitment to people, ensuring members at all career stages feel valued and supported
- A focus on continuous learning, promoting development opportunities across the region
- A collaborative approach, building strong connections with peers and partner organisations
- A positive, energetic presence that lifted every event, initiative, and interaction
Theresa’s presidency has been defined by her integrity, warmth, and unwavering dedication — qualities that have made a lasting impact on the institute and those within it.
A Moment of Pride for TFA
Everyone at Trusted Financial Advice is incredibly proud of Theresa’s achievements over the past three years. She has represented both the Insurance Institute of Exeter and TFA with professionalism and passion, and we are honoured to celebrate this milestone with her.
Her leadership story is one that reflects the values we live by at TFA: supporting people, striving for excellence, and always contributing positively to our profession and our communities.
Looking Ahead
As Theresa passes the baton to the incoming President, we know she will continue to inspire, support, and shape the industry through her work and her example.
This chapter may be closing, but her influence will continue to be felt across the institute and beyond.
