Charles Knight DipPFA

He holds the DipPFA (QCF Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning) and has supported a wide range of advice models, including whole of market, bank aligned and high net worth client environments.

His earlier career as both a Financial Adviser and Mortgage Adviser gives him a strong commercial understanding of the advice process from both adviser and client perspectives. This background enables Charles to deliver high quality technical support and well structured planning that underpins exceptional client outcomes.

Charles provides comprehensive paraplanning support across a wide range of financial planning needs, including:

• Pension and retirement planning – analysis, research and suitability support
• Investments & savings – portfolio research, fund analysis and recommendation support
• Tax efficient planning – including use of appropriate wrappers and allowances
• Protection planning – researching suitable personal and family protection solutions
• Reports & suitability letters – ensuring accurate, compliant and client friendly documentation
• Technical research – supporting advisers with complex planning scenarios

Outside of work, Charles has a wide variety of interests. A former scuba diving instructor, he has dived with bull sharks and whale sharks and once held a Scuba Guinness World Record.

He is actively involved in local cricket, playing in the Devon Cricket League and representing Devon Over 50s. Charles also enjoys rugby, golf, surfing, cooking and entertaining friends and family — and maintains a proudly vocal South African bias when the rugby is on.

Chales is based in Plymouth and provides support to TFA Independent Financial Advisers throughout the South and South West of England.
