Jake Trembath – Trainee Independent Financial Adviser

He is passionate about building long-term, trusted relationships with clients and is committed to delivering a high standard of service through clear, structured financial planning. Through his studies and internal training at TFA, Jake is developing the technical knowledge and practical skills required to support clients with confidence, clarity, and care, ensuring their financial plans are aligned with their individual goals and values.

Jake takes pride in clear communication and a consistently high level of service, helping clients feel supported throughout every stage of their advice journey.

Prior to joining TFA, Jake served as a Junior Warfare Officer in the Royal Navy, where he operated in high-pressure environments and developed strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. During his service, he achieved a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management through the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), providing a strong professional foundation.

Following his military career, Jake transitioned into the commercial sector, working in business development and account management roles. These positions further strengthened his ability to understand client objectives, build trusted relationships, and deliver tailored solutions, while also giving him valuable insight into commercial strategy and business operations.

In his current role at TFA, Jake provides administrative and technical support to advisers, with increasing involvement in report writing and adviser support. This hands-on experience is providing him with a strong practical grounding as he continues his development towards becoming a fully qualified Independent Financial
Adviser.

Jake is based in Truro.
