Corporate Responsibility

Each year TFA supports a variety of charities across the South & South West of England and encourages staff to get involved with fundraising and volunteering activities.

Our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is core to all aspects of our operations. From the way we conduct our business, to the ways in which we contribute to our local communities.

At TFA, we understand that business doesn’t always get done in the office and that participating in activities focussed on social responsibility brings the benefits of team work to all. This is why we host and participate in unique events that our staff can be a part of.

Our advisers support a range of local clubs, societies and charities.

Long standing relationships

For those who know our MD Chris Glazier, you will be aware that he is a keen cyclist and avid charity fundraiser. Having completed the entire Tour de France route on two separate occasions in aid of the William Wates Memorial Trust he was due to undertake this again in 2020. Unfortunately COVID prevented this! The event was rescheduled for 2021 but again COVID stopped the event from taking place. Not one to be put off Chris instead continued to fundraise for the Trust by riding from John O’Groats to Lands End in June 2021 with two fellow fundraising friends. He will hopefully ride Le Loop again in 2023.

We’re proud of our long relationship with St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth previously as a Corporate Sponsors and currently by participating in their local events such as the Midnight Walk, the Tour de Moor and their further flung activities including their coast to coast epic cycle challenge in Costa Rica. Whilst we are no longer a corporate sponsor we continue to support them through attending the popular events they host such as the ever popular ladies Midnight Walk.

Rather than having a single company wide charity, we opted to support our employees to participate in events hosted by their chosen charities through providing donations and additional complimentary holiday.

Being a part of TFA is more than just work; it’s a friendly, supportive and encouraging environment.
