Senior Wealth Management Administrator Job


We are excited to be recruiting for a Senior Wealth Management Administrator with office management responsibilities who will be based in our Truro office.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate previous wealth management administration support and have an excellent attention to detail. You will be part of a team of wealth management administrators and report to our Administration Manager Kate Yates.

Main purpose of a Senior Wealth Management Administrator is

  • To work in partnership with our Independent Financial Advisers to ensure a seamless service to our clients is provided.
  • To process all new business documentation pertaining to pension, investment, funds and protection, from submission to completion through effective communication with our clients, partner firms and adviser & management.
  • To ensure regulatory and company compliance levels are maintained through use of our back office systems – Intelligent Office.
  • To deliver the reception duties for the Truro Office including serving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.

Key Tasks

  • Requesting policy information from providers.
  • Electronic filing of client correspondence and all other relevant documentation at the time of processing
  • Obtaining client valuations and updating IO with fund information.
  • Preparing template Suitability Letters/Report via Genovo for the adviser following reviews.
  • Switching portfolios and fund switching.
  • Diary management, task management and event scheduling for both adviser and yourself.
  • Updating and maintaining client details on IO
  • Dealing with telephone, email and postal queries from clients and partner firms
  • Dealing with transfer of agency novations, letters of authority and chasing fees.
  • Preparing client valuations, illustrations and quotations
  • Reception/office duties

You will have

  • Previous wealth management administration experience gained within the financial services environment
  • Excellent IT skills (fully proficient with Microsoft Office and financial services back office systems preferably Intelligent Office)
  • A good standard of education
  • A methodical systematic and very organised approach and be able to co-ordinate and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to be flexible and a team player who thrives in a fast-paced working environment
  • The ability to multi-task and have an excellent attention to detail

Salary & Benefits
